Picture of the Month-May 2010

This was something awesome to watch and take part in. The kids are on a slip-n-slide at the waterfront. The tarps were covered in water and baby soap, as well as the campers. This camper looks like he is having so much fun! He was a part of a group that was defined as basically getting messy every day after breakfast. We couldn’t have asked for a better day or experience for these kids. Summer camp is almost here and we can’t wait for campers, new programs, new staff, old staff, and other things to start again! Picture of the Month-February 2010

WOW, what a big box!!!! This is the big screen that is now located in the outdoor chapel. We use it to project the words of songs, show videos, and more. This is the staff and Fast Academy Cadets moving the big box when it was first last year. We had to move it as a group all the way from the Workshop to the outdoor chapel. It was tough and took a lot of team work, but we were successful as God guided us through it all. This was a group of Studio Four-56 campers. They were out getting their picture taken, as the photographer checked the photo they began singing a very song llama song that ends with this pose of a moose! They all enjoyed themselves and we all felt so blessed to get to know these kids and all of the other kids throughout the summer. God is wonderful and has blessed this camp with so much. God bless as you begin  this new year. May God hold you in the palm of His hand and bless you in the year to come.

The campers are dancing along to a fun song at morning watch up on the ball field. Normally we hold morning watch at the outdoor chapel, but Chris had a special sermon that day for all the campers. Oh what a wonderful day this was! Each week our Reign Forest Campers got to experience a fun Disney game where THEY were the puzzle pieces. They danced to Disney songs, answered trivia and more! In this picture they are making their mouse ears. Hope you are having a great month! Picture of the Month

This was a honey comb that was found between the walls of dorm 11. A bee keeper came and took these honeycombs to his farm. This was very exciting to watch but we were also glad to get rid of them so that the campers will be safe here at camp. That is why this is our picture of the month for August!
